10 things I am thankful for (in no particular order):

1. My mom who came to town with my dad this week, and folded my laundry and made dinner for 2 nights.

2. My parents who, despite being totally stressed out about having to move to North Carolina, hated every house they've looked at, and generally don't think NC is even cool, never yell at each other even get angry at each other, always live out unconditional love before me and constantly (in the midst of all the stress) talk about how the Lord will provide for them and always has.

3. Shelly, who supports my decision to ditch Facebook on May 1st.

4. The opportunity to share with the Oldest Fry one last time about Jesus, who died for our sins and saves us. Here's to hoping that one day he learns that "up there" and "down there" are actually called heaven and hell....

5. Alex who just keeps going and going despite being totally exhausted.

6. The 107 substantial hits on our adoption website and over 100 on another website linky page thing. Someone has to call at some point. The law of averages says so (?)

7. Betty my neighbor who encourages me not to be discouraged about losing my job and for praying faithfully for my adoption ( and secretly for inviting me to prophecy conferences even though i never go... sorry.)

8. For Amelie and her integrity. It's hard to come to America, live with people you don't know well, and be constantly happy and cheerful. I'll miss her.

9. For God's grace abounding to me this year.

10. To be able to live in North Carolina, in Cary, own a house and have a job all at the same time. That sounds kind of superficial, but there are people who would give anything for our lives right now. (for all you Californians over there, North Carolina is like the California of the south. We are the most liberal, most expensive state in the south east. My parents have sticker shock.)
