Lately seen at Cary Public Library side by side on a shelf (as if they were the Gingham Dog and the Calico Cat):
John Piper's Desiring God and Joel Osteen's Your Best Life Now.
Subsequent visits have revealed that John Piper's books are always checked out, while Joel Osteen languishes on the shelves. The appropriateness of it all makes me smile.
